Economic behaviour of Ukrainian town families under the conditions of market economy formation

The results of the conducted sociological researches bring to light the issue of adaptation of the population to the modern system of management, popula tion’s attitude to the entrepreneurial activity and the organization of private business under the conditions of market economy formation. The article pre sents the data on the influence of sociodemographic, demoeconomic, socio psychological and economic factors on the population’s economic behaviour. The author analyzes choice options of the type of socioeconomic orientations of the concrete family categories depending on the region and type of settle ment, the peculiarities of the influence of personal and institutional aspects of economic culture on the economic behaviour of the population.
