The editorial office of the “Ukrainian Society” journal is a publisher’s unit that receives, registers, organisationally and technically supports the process of reviewing, preserves materials that come to the journal and meet the requirements for the authors established in the publication, reviews (for 3 years), carries out their preparation for the layout, control over the passage at all stages of preparation for release and the quality of execution and compliance with the release schedule of the journal, informatively and technologically accompanies journal’s site; organizes mandatory distribution of journals, including their electronic versions to the Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine, the reference journal “Dzherelo”, author’s copies, etc., retains the consent of the members of the editorial board to participate in the work of the editorial board during journals’ period of existence.
In its work, journal’s editorial office is governed by current legislation, state standards in the publishing industry, normative documents on publishing policies of periodicals, approved at the founders’ meeting, decisions of the editor-in-chief and editorial board of the journal.
Employees of the editorial staff of the periodical are appointed and dismissed from office by the order of the issuing institution’s director by the recommendation of the editor-in-chief.
