Settlement differentiation as the factor of social inequality in Ukraine

The division according to territorial settlement in modern Ukraine is the key to understanding social processes, which form the structure of social ine quality and determine intergroup and interpersonal tension. Life chances of the individuals depend on their place of living and find their reflection in their social health. The author considers it of utmost importance for the new authorities to optimize territorial proportions of socioeconomic differenti ation of population, to develop different regions of Ukraine harmoniously.
