Financial practices of the Ukrainian population in the sociological context

The article analyses the financial practices as a part of socio-economic activity of the Ukrainian people. Based on the data from recent sociological studies, the author demonstrated the prevalence of passive and traditional financial practices in the contemporary Ukraine. The social and status features of the respondents, saving practices and forms of saving are comprehensively analyzed.
