The article seeks to identify the role of ‘electoral sociology’ in the general framework of humanitarian science and research, and reviews some ‘middle level’ sociological concept and applied sociology. The author analyzed the object, the subject and the main objectives of electoral sociology and defined the notion ‘elections’.
