Institutional changes in the political system of Ukrainian post-soviet society as a factor of resocialization of the “middle” generation

The notion of political resocialization and specificity of this process in atransitional society areshown.Thepeculiaritiesof the institutional changes in the political system of Ukrainian post-Soviet society areanalyzed and their possible influence on the political resocialization of the “middle” generation is determined.

It is concluded that despitethe severe crisis of identity of this generation, it preserves a considerable potentialas a subject of transformation, which under favorable conditions can quickly gain significant power andinfluence.
