The public and political attitudes of the population of Ukraine: assessment of the current situation, the level of trust electoral orientations and social activity: March of 2014
According to the results of the latest monitoring survey authors present a snapshot of public and political attitudes of Ukrainian population in the light of the events of late 2013 or early 2014, which led to Euromaidan and actual change of the state power in the country. The following aspects are tracked in the paper: the dynamics of the various interest groups involvement in the political life; level of trust to the authorities, political parties, public organizations, political and public figures; attitudes towards change in power and key personnel appointments; administration of the President and the Parliament off-year elections.
Authors suggest electoral rating of the leading parties and the most likely contenders for the presidential post. The peculiarity of the survey was to find out opinions regarding lustration of officials, trust in the government of the Russian Federation, officials of the EU and NATO.
