The mid-age generation in the contemporary transition

The article examines the attitudes and perceptions of different age groups in Ukrainian society in the context of the social and economic shifts accompanying the market transition in the country. Special focus is put on the mid­age generation whose professional and personal development has been largely affected by the recent dramatic social changes. The article highlights some important differences between age groups with regard to adaptation to the new economic reality and its values.
