In the article authors bring results over of analysis of development of guard of intellectual property as to the constituent of scientific-technological potential of the system of health protection of Ukraine with a further exposure and description of the proper tendencies. Presented propositions to improve state policy more efficient use of intellectual property for the development of national medical and pharmaceutical industry and the quality of health services.
