Gender parity in the system of economic relations


The article analyses the issue of gender peculiarities of present-day labour market in Ukraine. In particular, the authors present statistical data on economic activity and women’s and men’s employment, give unemployment indices, analyse poverty problem and existing gender stereotypes. Besides, the article makes use of sociological research data on this issue obtained by the Ukrainian Institute of Social Research.
