Resilience of the quality of life of the population: the role of social protection
The article proposes an analysis of changes to the quality of life of the Ukrainian population under conditions of external armed aggression. The authors aim to demonstrate the importance of social protection in maintaining the quality of life of the population in the face of ongoing external threats. To achieve this, they examine the resilience of the population’s quality of life using contemporary conceptual frameworks. The study’s methodology is based on contemporary approaches to the resilience of socio-economic processes and structures. The article substantiates the role of social protection as a dominant factor in the resilience of the quality of life of the Ukrainian population under constant external challenges and threats. Particular attention is paid to justifying the interrelationship between social protection and the resilience of the population’s quality of life. Conceptual and structural approaches to enhancing resilience have been formulated, and the authors have developed well-founded recommendations for state policy measures to build resilience in the quality of life of Ukraine’s population in the face of external threats. The obtained results are proposed as a basis for further research in the fields of social economics and state policy in the context of post-crisis transformation.
