ЧСЧ середнього та старшого віку: чому складно залучати до діяльності ВІЛ-сервісних організацій
Дослідження (30 напівструктурованих інтервью в 5 адміністративно-територіальних одиницях України) охопило чоловіків, які мають статеві відносини з чоловіками (ЧСЧ), середнього та старшого віку (35 років і старше) з метою знайти фактори, які слід враховувати при плануванні нових послуг чи доповненні вже наявних у профілактичних проєктах. Стиль життя ЧСЧ середнього та старшого віку може бути охарактеризований як властивий для зрілих особистостей. Показано, що одним з головних факторів, який впливає на залучення цієї соціально-демографічної групи до діяльності ВІЛ-сервісних організацій, є конкуренція пропонованих організаціями послуг з іншими способами проведення вільного часу, а зміст послуг повинен узгоджуватись з виявленими потребами потенційних клієнтів (зокрема, у сфері здоров’я, взаємин з партнерами й партнерками, хобі), розкладом повсякденного життя та способами комунікації з іншими членами ЛГБТ-спільноти. ЛГБТ-організації повинні створювати безпечний фізичний і психологічний простір, консультувати в питаннях прийняття старіння, розлучення з партнером чи партнеркою, показувати безпечніші моделі проживання стресових ситуацій, підтримувати та формувати поведінку, спрямовану на збереження здоров’я, формування здорового способу життя та підвищення його якості як у контексті соціалізації клієнтів, так і збереження чи відновлення сексуальної привабливості й активності. Клієнти повинні мати можливість обирати найбільш відповідні їхнім запитам послуги з широкого переліку (зокрема, для одно- та різностатевих пар), а також спосіб отримання послуг (з візитом або без візиту в офіс організації). Підхід до організації послуг повинен створювати впізнаване обличчя кожної організації в межах міста чи області, а не пропонувати однаковий набір сервісів). Проведене дослідження має низку обмежень, головним з яких є неможливість узагальнення отриманої інформації на всю досліджувану популяцію через суто якісний характер застосованої методології. Досліджена група (ЧСЧ у віці 35 років і старше) складається з кількох відмінних вікових груп, серед яких найстарша матиме додаткову травму минулого.
