The article presents the results of the sociological research carried out under the author’s guidance. The research was conducted among the students of Universities of Kharkiv in 2005 and was dedicated to the analysis of factor conditionality of the formation of the future specialists’ life strategies. The article proposes detailed typology of the guidelines of the person’s life strat egy. Thus, tree types of the modern undergraduate youth’s strategies were analyzed: achievement, adaptation and isolation strategy. The author pays particular attention to the role of high school in strategic planning of per son’s course of life.
