This article considers the problems of the formation of both the role of busi8 ness in the processes of social integration and the foundations of the social legitimation of business and the construction of a civilized model of rela8 tions between business circles, the society, and the state. One of the vectors of the integration of the society and business consists in the formation and the further development of the social responsibility of business as a form of the efficient economic social growth. The theoretical aspect of the social respon8 sibility of business, the character of its social role, its peculiarities, and the system of relations based on the complex of obligations to the society and the state are studied.
