The effectiveness of industrial production largely depends on the motivation of labour force to productive and effective labour. Thus the selfmotivation of workers is crucial. Considering that the private sector continues to grow in Ukraine, the article argues for importance of the new sociological definition «socioecological motivation of entrepreneurship». A combination of tech nical and social factors will ensure high competitiveness of Ukrainian com panies.
