Динаміка трудових цінностей російського населення, 1991–2004 рр.

The results of four mass representative polls executed in 1991,2004 are compared. It is established that the majority of labor values of the Russian workers underwent numerous changes for 14 post,reform years, which tes, tifies to the lability of the mass labor culture and does not agree with extended ideas of its resistance to changes. It is shown that the essential changes of two integral value indices constructed on the basis of the factor analysis have occurred. The dominants of values of the “agenda” character, istic of the period under consideration are basic “materialistic” needs of workers and two strategies of their satisfaction: the strategy of dosed efforts (“comfort materialism”) and (less pronounced) the strategy of energetic actions oriented to high,level achievements (“energetic materialism”). The initiative self,realization and the personal responsibility have remained now at the periphery of the labor consciousness of the Russians, which sharply separates them from the workers of economically developed countries form, ing the “great eight”.
