Роль соціального капіталу в модернізації українського суспільства

Стаття присвячена оцінці соціального капіталу, а саме довіри, громадської участі та комунікації в неформальних соціальних мережах як чинників, що можуть сприяти модернізації в Україні.

Здійснено огляд досліджень щодо зв’язку між соціальним капіталом та соціально-економічним розвитком. На основі даних Європейського соціального дослідження для України за методикою структурних рівнянь розроблено модель соціального капіталу як ресурсу інституційної ефективності.

Доведено, що в умовах українського суспільства проблема полягає не стільки у відсутності чи дефіциті соціального капіталу як такого, скільки у слабкості його громадського ефекту.
