Специфіка та тенденції розвитку сучасного міста в соціологічному дискурсі

In the article the analysis of teoretiko-methodological approaches is considered to research of socially spatial organization of cities. The basic historical stages of forming and development of cities and process of urbanization, and also excretions of principal reasons of their origin and excrescence, are analysed. The basic idea of the article consists in claim of idea about the important role of modern city in community development.
