Глобалізація в східноєвропейському контексті: приклад громад малих міст
This article is prepared by the results of an international sociological investigation of the influence of the expansion of the EC to the east by using five situational studies of small towns in Poland, Bulgaria, and three postsoviet countries: Ukraine, Byelorussia, and Russia. The towns of Semjatycie (Poland), Skidel (Byelorussia), and Chop (Ukraine) representing the social context of small centers in the outlying regions of the countries, as well as the towns of Stupino (Russia) and Pernik (Bulgaria) which are townsatellites near the megapolises, are chosen as objects for the comparative analysis. The project is focused at important aspects of the everyday life of these towns, first of all at peculiarities of the situation on the local labour market.
