Стан соціально-економічного розвитку українського села та його вплив на становище сімей

The article is devoted to the problems of the socio4economic development of contemporary Ukrainian villages and to their influence on the functioning of rural families. In particular, it is emphasized that the profound economic crisis of the 1990s and the social losses accompanying the reformation of the agrarian sphere on the modern stage have conditioned such negative phe4 nomena as a low level of employment of the rural population, their poverty, the fracture of the social infrastructure of villages, the growing depopulation, and the rapid extinction of villages. Such a state of affairs leads to that the agriculture becomes a nonperspective sphere of activity for the rising gener4 ation, and a village itself becomes a nonprestige residence place.
