The economic consciousness as a phenomenon of the human vital activity is considered. Its essence and structure as those of one of the forms of social consciousness are comprehensively clarified. The specificity of each of the structural components of economic consciousness, which influence certain models of the economic behaviour of a personality, is characterized.
